Michael Brown exhibit opened in Chicago
(CHICAGO) – A new art exhibit about the Michael Brown police shooting in Ferguson is on display in Chicago. The piece features a life-size portrayal of Michael Brown after he was killed last year in Ferguson. Details of this exhibit are in news link below:

Within the last year we’ve seen our beloved pitch man J-E-L-L-O pudding pop himself go from this wholesome TV father figure from the Cosby Show all the while Bill Cosby the MAN is wanting to save the black kids from gangs and street violence and lastly preaching the importance of education for our Black youth. As we now know (or not) Cosby’s first accuser asked a judge to release Cosby’s FULL deposition (that Cosby I’m sure didn’t want released) in her sex-assault lawsuit.Watching Cosby the MAN through the years I saw vulnerability and a flaw what’s that flaw you ask? His EGO and that pudding pop and them nuts in-between his legs that’s gotten him into a HOT J-E-L-L-O mess. This man has been accused of drugging and raping multiple women (paying them off and telling them to keep they mouth shut) who were once aspiring actresses ( mostly white women that we’ve seen so far) and a few women of color including Super Model Beverly Johnson, this has apparently been going on for the past few decades.
If I remember correctly, he is married with children. So he took his married with children ass Cosby charm wooed a woman into bed Hmmmm… I wonder?? you know what’s next (drugged her maybe raped her) she got pregnant then he paid his now baby mama hush money, his baby and baby mama quietly went way while Cosby’s WHOLESOME IMAGE intact. But hold up his baby grew up!! I guess mama and daughter felt ignored and got tired of people fawning over him like he was the savor for the BLACK children in the ghetto and the greatest TV Dad of the century so with that she and her mama put has black ass ON FULL BLAST! All the while this was happening Cosby and his team repaired his CLIFF HAXTABLE persona very quickly.
The late 1990’s we cried with Cosby for the senseless death of his beloved son Ennis Cosby and understanding that BILL COSBY THE MAN is not PERFACT and he is NOT Dr. Cliff Haxtable.
Toward the end of 2014 I watched as everyone else did Bill Cosby’s great pedestal fall I was taken a back quite a bit by the disbelief of SOME of my black people SOME whites had totally different opinions on Cosby’s apparent fall from grandeur SOME whites said he’s a drugging rapist and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent, SOME black folk think he’s being setup by these trifling Hoes for money; fame, they want to see real PROOF that Cosby drugged and raped these women one even said, “Why didn’t these woman save they panties for DNA?” I was like REALLY? Ummmm… that’s nasty! LOL As I read comments on Facebook and other social media and blogs about this man that so many people of color look up to I often wonder are these apparently intelligent people looking at Dr. Heathcliff Haxtable the fictional father figure who had strong family values or Bill Cosby The pitch man for J-E-L-L-O pudding Pops? Are we looking at the activist the author television Icon and groundbreaker for so many black people in the entertainment industry? I think in my humble opinion (IMHO) many people are looking at the carefully crafted molded character of a Black Man who’s life has NOT been so pretty HE’S A MAN with the J-E-L-L-O pudding pop and nuts in-between his legs which has ruined his carefully manufactured pedestal; his EGO then his OWN need to be America’s #1 DAD Heathcliff Haxtable. I see a MAN who’s now looked at very differently by the world who has watched him through the years. I feel great sadness and loneliness for this man Lord knows I do but he only has himself to blame.

Halle Berry wants to do a Solo Storm movie
With Wolverine about to get his 3rd solo movie and Gambit getting his first movie next year. It seems like Halle Berry wants to add Storm into the mix. Halle Berry has stated that she would love to do a solo Storm movie in the future, at least before she turns 65 she says.
My thoughts? While I would love a Storm solo movie I just don’t think Halle Berry would fit the role. A woman of African descent should play her seeing is how Storm is African.
I don’t know what’s Hollywood’s deal on casting lighter skinned women in these types of roles. The same could be said for Akexandra Shipp because I for one don’t know why she was cast as Storm for X-Men Apocalypse. Lupita Nyongo would’ve been perfect for this type of role but it seems like that’s just wishful thinking.

Alliance woman calls 911 to report Chinese food that was “not to par”
Okay I love me some Chinese food and sweet-and-sour pork with extra sauce but… DAYUM this heffa called 911 cause her chicken chow mein and tartar sauce wasn’t quite right? REALLY??? Are kidding me right now? So this heffa called 911 cause her egg rolls tasted like burnt rubber? Ummmm…. I’m sorry my sistah you called 911 for your undercooked fried rice while some poor individual could have or may have DIED because of your senseless, mindless and pure straight up dumb fuckery. Don’t drop the chopsticks!
ALLIANCE, Ohio – An Alliance woman learned the hard way that bad Chinese food isn’t a justifiable reason to call 911.
Alliance police report that they received a call around 4:30 p.m. Monday from 44-year-old Tracey McCloud who said the Chinese food she ordered from a local restaurant was “not to par.”

Beyoncé and Marvel
While this is about 2 weeks old I wanted to touch on this rumor of Disney and Marvel in talks with Beyoncé in possibly doing a movie either on her own or being added in The Avengers: Infinity War.
Rumors say that she’s up for roles such as Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel and a few others. My response to these rumors is, NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Here’s a newsflash, not everyone who sings, can act and vice versa. I seriously think that if this is true Marvel is just looking at dollar signs. I seriously don’t think that Beyoncé is that good of an actress at all. Yeah I said it.
Seriously, keep Beyoncé away from Marvel! She’s already everywhere I don’t need her in my super hero movies too!
MTV Forces White People to Face Their Whiteness in New Documentary ‘White People’

Well folks it looks like MTV is getting ready to get a bunch of boxes of Kleenex for some good old white folks tears with a new Reality Documentary called White People. While I was watching with Kermit and MJ popcorn in one hand and ice tea in the other as I watch the preview most seem nervous and uncomfortable to talk about race and their white privilege and what it means to have it; I’m hoping they learn HOW they can help heal the wounds that has been inflicted upon people of color. So my white folks breakout the tissues and blow your nose and start cryin’. Maybe Common ( I mean this sarcastically) can cry with you while comforting you with love? Will you be watching my black and white people? I know I am!
If you’re white and have ever felt uncomfortable or offended whenever I have called out the American entertainment industry’s long history of racism, then 1) wow I feel very sorry for you and 2) get ready to squirm in your seats. On July 22, MTV is premiering a documentary called White People (lol I know) in which white people are forced to think about how white they are. The Macon-Bibb County Branch of the NAACP says the charges against five people arrested for vandalism at a Macon Walmart are too severe.
Gwenette Westbrooks, president of the organization, said the parents of the suspects reached out to her asking for help.
The five are charged with felonies including rioting, damage to property, and street gang activity. They all remain in jail.
“Their bonds are too high,” Westbrooks said in a telephone interview with 13WMAZ. “We’re asking for their bonds to be reduced and we’re asking for them to be released … they’re not being treated fairly.
“It’s not gang related,” Westbrooks added. “Just because more than three people are together doesn’t mean they’re in a gang.”
Westbrooks said she has talked to District Attorney David Cooke, but she’s not satisfied with the conversation they had.
The bond for Kharron Nathan Green, 17, is set at $11,200, according to the county jail website. Twenty-year-old Lekelvin Lamont Renfroe’s bond is set at $5,900. Bonds have not been set for Hajj-Malik Markaveli Renfrone, 18, Vashaun Chandler Rozier, 18, and a 16-year-old juvenile.
Dozens more are expected to be arrested in the case in which 40 to 50 teens stormed the Zebulon Road Walmart after midnight on June 28 running down aisles and pulling merchandise off of the shelves.
They caused more than $2,000 worth of damage, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
“I’m not saying they should not be punished and held accountable for their actions, but to charge these kids the way they did is too severe,” Westbrooks said

Florida county votes to fly Confederate flag once again
OCALA, Fla. (AP) – As lawmakers in South Carolina consider removing the Confederate flag from the Statehouse grounds, a north Florida county has decided to do the opposite.
The Marion County Commission voted Tuesday unanimously to again fly the Confederate flag in front of a government building, weeks after it had been taken down.
The interim county administrator had removed the flag at the McPherson Governmental Complex in Ocala, joining other communities across the South and nationwide that took down or reconsidered Confederate symbols after the June 17 killing of nine black people at a Charleston, South Carolina, church. A white man who appeared in photos waving Confederate flags is charged.
The Ocala Star-Banner reports that several citizens spoke in favor of restoring the flag.

Now why after a 21 year old white supremacist and terrorist named Dylan Roff from South Carolina who went into a church of worship then killed his 9 unsuspecting God loving people who it seems only worshiped the confederate flag and his white supremacist allies. The confederate flag is symbol of HATE and foul dislike for people of color. He CHOOSE an historically Black church known for coming together as a people of ALL RACES to end segregation; racism. This flag that most Carolinas hold so dear to their heart and soul; say “It’s a part of our Heritage!” I SAY NO IT’S A SYMBOL FOR SEPARATE BUT EQUAL! A lot of our black folks (except for three) want that flag to fly NO MORE!
This vile flag was removed from all retail stores; merchandise was removed online and off. TVLand removed The Dukes of Hazard from it’s TV line up. So why on earth would Florida want to fly confederate flag high above the sky? I say The Confederate flag and a gun just don’t mix.
Parents banished teen girl to tent after she ate a Pop-Tart, SC deputies say
DALZELL, SC (WNCN) — The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office arrested a husband and wife on child neglect charges Friday night after learning they were forcing their 14-year-old daughter to live in a tent in the woods more than a quarter-mile from their home. Crystal Lynn Driggers, 36, and James Allen Driggers, 33, both of the 3400 block of Ben Sanders Road in Dalzell, have each been charged with a single count of unlawful neglect of a child. Investigators learned the child had been denied entrance to her home for the past two days, and was expected to remain away from the home for a week, allegedly in an attempt to punish the child for eating a Pop-Tart. Now what kind of buffoonery is this? We done stories before where parents took drastic measures when punishing their children for EATING something. How serious was that pop tart? Did these parents forgot the dangers in leaving their child almost a mile away from their home ALONE in a tent? NO food is that important that they are willing to put their child’s life in danger just to punish them for eating it.
