Lauryn was in the middle of performing her hit “Ohh La La” when she looked toward the side of the stage and encouraged some of her celebrity friends to join her.
The first onstage was Mary J. Blige followed by Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Chris Rock and John Legend also hit the stage during Lauryn’s set.

Jay-Z claims he “made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can.”
so perhaps it’s only fitting that Jay-Z will be teaming up with the Yankees to manufacture co-branded clothing.
That’s right all you masonic prince fans, can now buy Jay-Z/Yankees hats, t-shirts and hoodies,
They will be sold exclusively at Yankee Stadium, starting next week.
Each item of clothing will feature both the Yankees and Jay-Z’s logos,
The clothing will be on sale from August 30 to September 14.
Beanie Sigel disses Jay for the thousand time

Beanie Sigel is back, and he is sending more shots at Jay-Z bwahaha
during a performance in Baltimore he was joined onstage by some thirsty man who sang R.Kelly’s infamous intro to “Bump And Grind”
“Lost the Best of Both Worlds, you could of called R. Kelly/Mister 2-3, since he’s got the arch already, you supposed to pass that Roc when the ball got heavy/Instead he’s getting picked at half court already/He 45 and playing for the Wizards already/Stop stalling, let’s get it already/Number one rap recording would have spit it already!”
He also took shots at Jigga’s thirsty friend Memphis Bleek he said:
“I’m a nightmare and will show up in your dreams like Freddy/Sigel, Desert Eagle Arc heavy, already/NIggas is running scared already/Memph Bleek peed the sheets and leave the bed all wetty”

Kanye decided to join twitter this week, he has wasted no time gaining followers or
getting his tweet game on lol you can find him at @kanywest.
Ye recently stopped by the offices of Rolling Stone to talk about his album:
West says the vibe of his new record is positivity, acknowledging that he’s made mistakes in his life. Adding that he believes great art doesn’t have to come from dark places, he said, “I feel like [now] I can be a vessel for good will and energy.” Dressed in a tailored charcoal gray suit, black wayfarer-style sunglasses and lace-less Dries Van Noten shoes, West opened up his laptop and fired through nearly a dozen new tracks plus snippets of unfinished ones. He played the full version of “My Chain Heavy” (the racially charged song he debuted a cappella at Facebook earlier this week), which was anchored by an old-school beat with a spacey whistle hook. Other songs featured some of Kanye’s most adventurous and experimental music yet: heavy beats, cellos, sparse piano lines, fuzzed-out electric guitar solos, and spooky sci-fi melodies.
