Lauryn Hill Brings Out Jay-Z, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz At Rock The Bells concert

Lauryn was in the middle of performing her hit “Ohh La La” when she looked toward the side of the stage and encouraged some of her celebrity friends to join her.
The first onstage was Mary J. Blige followed by Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Chris Rock and John Legend also hit the stage during Lauryn’s set.

Kelly says she is tired of people comparing her to Beyonce

Kelly was recently asked by the UK paper The Independent,
about her opinion on the comparisons to her Destiny’s Child sister Beyonce…
Kelly says: “We’re sisters! But claims the negativity and catfights sell way more,”
Kelly continued by saying “People can’t think of anything more intelligent than to compare,
And that’s only natural, I understand.”That’s just the way the industry is, so you find a way to make things your own. But even though my sound sounds like nothing she’s done, people are going to find something to say.
her self-titled album is set for a September 21st release.
First of all Kelly has nothing on Beyonce sorry, I don’t know who is comparing these too women
beside being in the same group, vocally, style wise, dancing etc she is nothing like Beyonce…
her music sucks to me, I’ve never coped a Kelly album, and I don’t plan on doing so Sept 21st.
she needs to stop worrying about what everyone says, and actually put out some decent music
or get out the game all together.

at the Barclaycard Wireless Festival, at Hyde Park in London England.
Jay-Z performed a few of his classics which included Empire State Of Mind,

Kelly Rowland says her and Beyonce are still friends

Kelly Rowland sat down recently to do a interview with “Entertainment Weekly”
Despite constant rumors pitting them against one another, Kelly says she and Beyoncé have remained friends.
“We were always civilized,” she tells Entertainment Weekly,“That’s what I’m most proud of.
From the rumors to the lawsuits to false accusations, it was really tough.”
Even when legal issues arose with former members LeToya and LaTavia, the two stayed close.
“We were strong because we had each other,” she tells the magazine.
“There were times when I couldn’t even be strong enough, but I had B.
She was the only thing I knew, She was my only friend.”
As for the Destiny’s Child reunion that her former manager Mathew Knowles shut down,
Kelly says she would be open to it “if the fans wanted it to happen.”
Rowland also admits in the article that her former label Columbia Records
dropped her and it was not a mutual split as the press release stated.
“In all honesty, they let me go.
The records that I put out probably didn’t perform as well as maybe they wanted them to,
”she reveals we live in an industry where you’ve got to bring in money.
You can’t be pushing out so much money and not bring anything back, I get it.”
Kelly Rowland’s self-titled third solo album is due September 21 on Universal Motown it features the singles “Commander,” “Grown Woman,” and “Rose Colored Glasses.”
Beyonce is being sued again…

Beyonce has been sued again this time by a neighbor who had become annoyed with the noise from a film crew that was filming her recent music video for the song titled “Why Don’t You Love Me.”
The film crew was using a house that was next door to the man’s home. He said that the film crew kept him up night and day, an even trespassed on his property.
The man, Phillip Markowitz claims that the film crew invaded his neighborhood, and interrupted his day to day routine.
He revealed that the crew remained noisy, even after repeated attempts to quiet them down, and that the noise wold start very early in the morning. He also said that his drive way was blocked on several occasions when he went to move his car later on in the day.
He claims that he was unable to answer several business calls while he was busy arguing with members of the film crew who were refusing to leave his drive way during the dispute.

anyways a second version of Beyonce’s Halo video surfaced on the net.
the original Halo video, debuted 9 months ago, it was a sweet video ft Michael Ealy,
Beyonce looked beautiful as always, but this version has a darker, more sinister plot…The eerie music video was directed by Philip Andelman
i can’t wait till it gets deciphered on youtube by all the conspiracy theorist lol…
the video’s story line left me confused #kanyeshrug.

Wednesday night President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama rolled out the red carpet for Mexican President Felipe Calderon and his wife Margarita Zavala. a lot of big name celebs came through as well including Eva Longoria, Jet’s QB Mark Sanchez, Mayor Cory Booker, George Lopez, Shani Davis and Beyonce, and many others. Beyonce closed the show by singing to the crowd.
This was the second state dinner hosted by the first couple.
