Shaq says shaunie better shut her mouth!
Apr 14th

Shaq is pissed/nervous as hell, him and his goons…i mean his lawyers recently sent a letter to VH1 demanding immediate halt on the production of ‘Basketball Wives‘ he doesn’t want any episodes to air that mention his name…
Shaq’s lawyer claims Shaunie signed a confidentiality agreement at some point in their relationship, so if she says anything about Shaq on TV, she and the production company will find themselves in court.
The first episode of the show already aired last week and show #2 which reportedly features a scene centered around Shaunie’s relationship with Shaq, it is scheduled to run Sunday.
but Sources close to the show told tmz that it’s unclear whether or not the next episode will make air.
Dear Shaq: I need you to stop worrying about Shaunie, and focus on trying to play in The NBA Playoffs #thatisall!

Michael Jordan Officially owns the BOBCATS
Mar 18th

Michael Jordan is making history in the NBA once again, as some of ya’ll know i stay in North Cackalacky
well it’s all over the news and radio Jordan became the first former player to be a majority team owner in the NBA, when his $275 million bid to buy the Charlotte Bobcats was unanimously approved by the league’s Board of Governors.
this is what the ELITE had to say… trust and believe “The Elite” are involved nothing happens by chance…
“We are pleased that Michael Jordan’s purchase of majority ownership of the Bobcats was approved by the NBA’s Board of Governors and closed in such a smooth and expeditious fashion,” said NBA commissioner David Stern. “We look forward to the continued growth of the Bobcats, on and off the court, under his leadership.”
Jordan and MJ Basketball Holdings, LLC had actually reached an agreement to purchase the majority of the team from Bobcats owner Bob Johnson in late February, but was awaiting official approval by the league.
“Purchasing the Bobcats is the culmination of my post-playing career goal of becoming the majority owner of an NBA franchise,” Jordan said in a statement. “I am especially pleased to have the opportunity to build a winning team in my home state of North Carolina.”
Although the deal is historical, Jordan has a great task on his hand. The six-time NBA champion and five-time league MVP will be charged with turning around the luck of the 6-year-old Bobcats, who are on pace to lose about $30 million this season because of sluggish ticket and sponsorship sales….i’m sure my oldest will now be hounding me for tickets, now that Jordan owns the team #recession!
With the acquisition, Michael Jordan is said to assume about $150 million in debt in the deal.
Despite the financial challenges, Jordan and BET creator Bob Johnson’s deal is significant because it places Jordan as only the second black majority owner of a major U.S. pro sports team after replacing Johnson.
Johnson, who paid $300 million for the expansion team, is reported to have lost tens of millions annually after the value of the team declined. Even though Jordan has the majority of ownership, Johnson won’t completely end his relationship with the team. A spokeswoman for Johnson said he’ll be a minority investor in Jordan’s ownership group.
“The best decision I made since acquiring the Bobcats was to convince my friend Michael to become an investor in the Bobcats and to appoint him as managing member of basketball operations,” Johnson said in a statement. “As the new majority owner of the Bobcats, his dedication will be stronger now more than ever.”
Hopefully Micheal Jordan will turn the Bobcats around, they were good when i 1st moved here…. now they suck #justsaying

Olympian Nodar Kumaritashvili dies before the opening ceremonies
Feb 13th
I just found out about Olympian Nodar Kumaritashvili dying after he lost control of his sled, he crashed head first in to a metal beam… i think this is so sad, what a horrible and public way to go out, i feel bad he was only 21.
I can’t say that i understand the sport of Lugging… it seems scary too me, i mean you lay on a sled going upwards of 80miles per hours, that is a accident waiting to happen, it’s sad that it had to happen to this young man.
such a sad way to began the winter Olympics.
this is what the AP is reporting:
VANCOUVER — Nodar Kumaritashvili died just hours before the opening ceremonies of his first Olympic Games on the very track where he hoped to make his Olympic dreams come true.
The 21-year-old luge athlete from The Republic of Georgia was killed in a horrific crash on the Luge Track at Whistler Friday morning. The crash occurred at Thunderbird Curve, which is curve 16. It is the fastest curve on the track with speeds that reach 5.5 Gs.
“I’m told by members of his federation that he was an incredibly spirited young person,” said VANOC CEO John Furlong at a press conference Friday afternoon. “And he came here to be able to feel what it’s like to be able to call yourself an Olympian.”
The young Georgian crashed as he came out of a short tunnel on the track, smashing first into the top of the tunnel, which sent him careening across the track where his sled hit the lip of the track. He was thrown from the sled and into a metal pylon where he laid motionless.
Rescuer workers and volunteers got to Kumaritashvili within seconds of the accident but were unable to revive him. He was flown to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

Sapp charged with domestic battery (sigh)
Feb 7th
Why is everyone showing out super bowl weekend…(in my Martin voice) can’t we all just get along??
espn is reporting that warren sap got a arrested smh, maybe he should just stick to dancing…i’m just saying!
Espn’s report:
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Former NFL star Warren Sapp has been charged with domestic battery in South Florida, and the analyst will not be part of the NFL Network’s Super Bowl coverage on Sunday.
Warren Sapp
Sapp was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery and is expected to appear before a Miami-Dade County judge Sunday, Miami Beach police spokesman Juan Sanchez said.
The NFL Network spokesman Dennis Johnson released this statement: “We have been made aware of the arrest of Warren Sapp by the Miami Beach Police Department. In light of these circumstances, Warren Sapp will not appear on NFL Network while we review the matter.”
The domestic violence allegation was reported around noon Saturday and detectives interviewed Sapp later that day, Sanchez said. The alleged physical altercation against a female acquaintance took place at 6 a.m. ET Saturday at the Shore Club Hotel, where Sapp was staying, ESPN’s Kelly Naqi reported, according to a source.
The victim had a swollen knee and bruises on her neck, according to an arrest affidavit. She told detectives that she was partying with Sapp and her friends at the hotel and asked for his room key when she grew tired. Sapp reportedly woke up the victim a few hours later and they started to argue. She told investigators that Sapp started to choke her and pushed her down on a couch.
As the argument escalated, Sapp grabbed the woman by her shirt and neck and threw her down again, the affidavit states.
Sapp told investigators that he let the woman stay in his room but asked her to leave a few hours later. He told police that the woman fell on her leg when he tried to help her get off a couch.
A telephone message left for Sapp’s attorney was not immediately returned, nor was an e-mail.
Sanchez said Sapp was expected to be transferred to Miami-Dade County jail Saturday.
The former defensive tackle played for the University of Miami, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders.
Besides the NFL Network, which is owned by the league, Sapp works as an analyst for Showtime’s “Inside the NFL” show.
Sapp was in South Florida as part of the NFL Network’s coverage of Sunday’s Super Bowl between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts.
Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
