Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray will be charged with involuntary manslaughter
Feb 6th

Michael jackson’s doctor will be charged with involuntary manslaughter
Los Angeles County coroner’s office, ruled MJ’s death a homicide by drug overdose.
Propofol is supposed to be administered only by an anaesthesia professional in a medical setting. patients require constant monitoring because the drug suppresses breathing and heart rate while also lowering blood pressure, so this is a deadly combination.
Dr Murray has maintained that nothing he gave the singer should have killed him.
He admitted when questioned by police that he had given Jackson propofol, which MJ called “milk”.
He told police that Jackson was dependent on propofol to sleep and that he was trying to wean him off the drug.
Dr Murray said that other doctors had also given him propofol .
It was not illegal for him to administer propofol to Jackson, but investigators are unsure if he followed proper procedures while Jackson was under the influence.
In November Dr Murray resumed seeing patients at his clinic in Houston because he needed to raise money for legal fees over the investigation into Jackson’s death. “he wouldn’t have seen me!” #justsaying!
I believe there is much more to the case, unfortunately we may never know the truth!
a lot of people say MJ was set up to be murder and this was all part of a big plan by the “elite” …either way it’s sad that MJ was so heavily addicted to drugs and it’s sad that the ones closest to him refused to intervene and help but instead enabled him by giving him what ever he wanted.
I mean C’monson who else could request anestesia as a sleep aid and actually get it.
he should be charged but how much of a role did Mj play in his demise, now that is the question that the jury has to answer.
it’s saddens me to know that the final chapter of Micheal Jackson’s life, is that he died by the hands of a black man…such a sad ending to a great life.
should dr.murry be charged with murder or man slaugther?
conspiracy?

kelly Rowland won a grammy too…#just saying
Feb 5th
A lot of people are still unaware that Kelly Rowland won a grammy, it’s sad that this lady gets no shine… they didn’t even air her win=(
I keep hearing how Beyonce broke records which is great, and how taylor swift went home with the biggest award #sideeye not sure why…
Taylor won a lot of Grammy’s and took home the big award, but in my opinion it was done because of all the publicity that kanye got her, at the VMA’s… hearing her live on the Grammys was not the business=/ i don’t think Taylor can sing live… she sounds good on CD but i was highly disappointed with her performance, especially after all of the VMA hype. I thought her and Stevie Nicks would blow everyone away, but in reality Stevie did all the work.
Kelly won a Grammy for “when love takes over”

2010 we are the world ….o_O
Feb 5th
If you haven’t heard over 100 celebs got together Monday to redo we are the world they are doing it to help raise awareness about everything going on in Haiti. the original was done to raise awareness of the famine that were going on in Africa back in 1985.
well a lot of people have mixed emotions about this, some feel like the song should be left alone and remastered, not to mention NO ONE can replace Michael Jackson!
to be honest i have mixed feelings about this as well, while it’s good to see stars put down the Beef and set a side their EGOS ,to come together for a great cause….I just hope people are doing it for the right reason, and not strictly for publicity. some of the names on the roster have me baffled o_O and some of the people featured don’t even sing…lol it reminds me of watching the original and seeing dan aykroyd singing smh.

anyways i can’t wait to hear the song, it should be pretty interesting….
for a full list of all the acts click here http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1631021/20100202/west_kanye.jhtml

Claudette Ortiz talks about Robbie’s “Intervention”
Feb 5th
So if you haven’t heard by now Robbie from the music group city high was on A&E’s intervention show, i watched it when it aired, and it really broke my heart.
I was sad for him as a person and not because he was once a celebrity who had everything and lost it all due to depression and poor decisions. it is sad when anyone becomes addicted to drugs or alcohol, but unfortunately it is all to common in today’s society.
we over indulge on everything from sex to liquor, unfortunately it catches up to a lot of us in the end. no one should be judging Robby because many of us could one day find ourselves in Robby’s shoes. i hope this show helps to wake a lot of people up, you can have it all one minuet and loose it the next #humility!

some of the controversy surrounding the show had to do with remarks he made about Claudette Ortiz. today i was watching city high’s “what would you video” on youtube i read quite a of few comments that were posted, and a lot of people were bashing Claudette and calling her a hoe… O_o umm unless you were there, there is always 2 sides to every story. It’s not my place or anyone else’s to judge her. i think a lot of people have forgotten how young they were. the person you are at 18 is not necessarily the person you will be at 30. I also feel that his alcohol abuse surely played a part in the deterioration of their relationship both personally and professionally.

here is a excerpts from her interview:
http://lmortlock.blogspot.com/2010/02/coversation-with-claudette-ortiz.html
On Why She’s Speaking Out:
Initially I wasn’t going to say anything… & I think that stemmed from fear because of the relationship I had with Robbie… it was an abusive one. He portrayed it like it was a “lovely romance” & it wasn’t. I just want to move on & put things behind me. Other people may be in the same position I was in… & if you don’t eventually stand up for yourself it can carry on for the next 12 years… like in my case. It was time to tell the truth… the truth that he so conveniently left out in the intervention. On how she felt after watching the intervention:
I didn’t watch it when it came on but then all this stuff started popping up on the Internet & when I decided that I was going to do this interview I had to watch it… I’m being used a scapegoat for his failure… he didn’t appreciate me, City High… I saw him on there talking about the red carpet… he didn’t appreciate the red carpet… I’m 18 years old living my dream, we were nominated for a Grammy & here is Robbie drunk… drunker than I’ve ever seen, I’m hoping we don’t win because I didn’t think he could control himself if we had to go on stage an accept the award. On how she linked up with Ryan:
Ryan was always a good friend to me… when Robbie & I broke up people were always saying things about me & Ryan would defend me so I was looking at him like he was my hero. It got to the point where I didn’t even want to be alone with Robbie… One time he threw a champagne bottle & again I had to move out of the way to prevent from getting hit. People thought he was going to hurt me because of how he treated me. Ryan was the total opposite… he has a lot of respect for women. On her relationship with Ryan and Robbie:
They weren’t best friends like Robbie likes to try & make it seem… Robbie was my teenage boyfriend & it wasn’t like I just hopped from one to the other… I married Ryan & was with him for 9.5 years. I got with Ryan because Robbie was an alcoholic… & the way he treated me. If I had a man now that had problems with alcoholism but treated me good, I’d stick around & help him through it.On the group’s break up:
I left the group in June 2003… he knows my reasons… he wanted to stay in the group… maybe that’s why he blames me. But if me leaving because I didn’t want to deal with the nightmare anymore is a bad thing, then I’ll take that. I’d been dealing with it since 1998 all the way through to 2003. I don’t know many solid women that can deal with that for so long… I even initially took the blame… I remember doing the Wendy Williams show & accepting all responsibility for the breakup because I didn’t want to talk about the truth… I don’t think he expected me to say anything… but I’m not that little girl anymore. I’m not weak, I’m a grown woman. I have children, got married, divorced… you have to stand up for yourself & that’s what I’m doing.if you missed the show, watch the full episode here….
