According to The New England Journal of Medicine, certain segments of the American population, has a higher HIV/AIDS infection rate…
“More than 1 in 30 adults in Washington, D.C., are HIV-infected—a prevalence higher than that reported in Ethiopia, Nigeria, or Rwanda. Certain U.S. subpopulations are particularly hard hit. In New York City, 1 in 40 blacks, 1 in 10 men who have sex with men, and 1 in 8 injection-drug users are HIV-infected, as are 1 in 16 black men in Washington, D.C. In several U.S. urban areas, the HIV prevalence among men who have sex with men is as high as 30%—as compared with a general-population prevalence of 7.8% in Kenya and 16.9% in South Africa.”
The report go’s on to state that African American women have higher HIV infection rates, because more black women are poor, poorly educated, and more likely to be involved in unstable relationships. The report also suggests that black women aren’t brave enough to ask their sexual partners to wear a condom, because it’s simply too hard to find a good man.
i’m not saying that Hiv isn’t a problem in the community, but the statics always find a way to bash black folks… i believe what needs to be discussed is prevention, people (especially young people) need to know their self worth.
sex is a joke now days, you have Stacy dash bragging about having one night stands, smh this culture is seriously f’d-up… no one is faithful, it’s all about how many hoes you can pull, so this is why the hiv/herpes cases keep skyrocketing, it’s truly sad.

a new report was recently released stating that black women are only worth $5 while single white women in the prime of their working years (ages 36 to 49) have a median wealth of $42,600 (still only 61 percent of their single white male counterparts)
The study [pdf] focused on data from the 2007 Survey of Consumer Finances, sponsored by the Federal Reserve Board.
The study offers several explanations. Women of color are more likely to hold jobs with lower pay and fewer benefits. They’re also more likely to be raising their families alone, with a full 70 percent of black families headed by single women. And while married or cohabiting women of color do better, with a median net worth of $31,500, that’s still substantially less than their white counterparts, whose median net worth is $167,500.

Woman Throws Baby in the Trash While Visiting Inmate
Last Sunday, 20-year-old Ashley Cox went to visit inmate, Justin Bell, at the Roederer Correctional prison in LaGrange, Kentucky. while this chicken head was there, she locked herself in a restroom and pretended to take an hour long ishh…well of course the guards got curious, because she had been in there for a long time…they then demanded that she open the door, after waiting a few more minutes she opened the door up, and that’s when officers saw blood everywhere!
Cox was then rushed to the hospital, where she told the doctors that she had a miscarriage…O_O
C’monson do you really think a trained doctor can’t tell the difference between a women who has had a miscarriage,
as opposed to a women who just pushed out a baby the size of a watermelon….SIGH!
Well The doctors told the police that Cox had delivered a baby, and that the newborn was out there somewhere…..
Eventually, prison security located Cox’s baby, which was lying dead in a garbage can, like a discarded dirty diaper=(
A preliminary autopsy report indicated that the baby was alive when delivered, and was otherwise healthy!
At anytime this chickenhead, could have spoken up and asked for help, smh mess like this pisses me off, this is the 2nd case this week where a chick had a healthy baby, and just threw it away like it wasn’t nothing!
Cox was taken into custody and charged with murder. She is being housed at the Oldham County Jail.

Diddy spoke to MTV about the event:
“We’re trying to make March 9th a national hip-hop holiday, It already is on the low…. It’s a big day. It’s a day to celebrate his life. It’s a day to celebrate the life of the man. We done did the movie, the records. It’s something that, I guess as a label we’re obsessed with: making sure people don’t forget about this man in a positive way. 8 Teens Shot At Waka Flocka’s Concert WTH??

It seems that there is always some ishh brewing around Waka Flocka Flame. First he gets into a fight at Walter’s with Jeezy’s people and gets a black eye, and you all remember he was shot a few months ago…now it’s being reported that 8 teens were shot at one of his shows in Gary, Indiana.
According to the Post-Tribune, Waka Flocka’s hype man may be to blame for the incident. The unidentified man took to the stage at World of Skates before Waka started performing and reportedly started an incident between the west and east sides of the city. That’s when police say fighting ensued and attendees were told to leave. Shots were fired in to a crowd of 200 kids, outside of the club leaving eight people injured.
if this is true the hype man needs to be replaced, use some common sense…. you can’t go to other cities stirring up issh!

I get sent so many videos on youtube it’s ridiculous =)
Recently i have been sent a rash of Chuck E cheese arrest videos,
it’s crazy these “adults” were guilty of worse behavior then children.
if you follow me on twitter, then you know at least once every other
month my kids dragggggg me to Chuck E Cheese lol,
don’t get me wrong i have fun while i’m there, but not enough to leave in hand cuffs!
The adults have really been showing out…2weeks ago a guy pistol whipped another guy in the chuck E. cheese parking lot.
then the next week a brawl broke out at the photo booth machine…#wheretheydothatat? this isn’t the club it’s Chuck E Cheese….

the worst part is where the baby was found…the baby girl was just down the street from a fire station!
this chick could have easily dropped the baby off there and called it a night.

Police say they are investigating whether a newborn was alive when she was dumped in a trash bin before her mother returned to a party in Southern California.
Jessica Canfield was booked Wednesday for investigation of murder after her daughter was found dead, just blocks from a fire station where unwanted babies can be surrendered.
Police say Canfield was attending the party over the weekend when she went into labor.
California implemented a law in 2001 to allow parents to give up their babies without fear of prosecution.
Department of Social Services spokesman Oscar Ramirez says at least 331 babies have been surrendered to authorities since the law was implemented.
