Mary J says she wishes she grew up like Beyonce
Dec 10th

In a recent interview Mary J. Blige recalls her childhood and says she wishes she’d grown up like Beyonce…
Mary J tells Cnn’s Piers Morgan,
“You gotta look at a life like that (Beyonce’s), with a mother and a father and a child and they’re raising and they’re in the music business with her where there is just so many vultures and people who don’t ever tell you the truth… and to look at her life, and to look at how graceful and beautiful and what a lady she is, it just inspired me.
“It made me a little sad because I wish I had that growing up, I wish my mom and dad had been together and I wish that they could have saw (sic) me through the music business and managed me and who knows how much further I would be and how much hell I wouldn’t have gone through.”
To be honest, I used to feel the same way Mary does…I used to feel like damn Beyonce APPEARS to have the perfect life, she is the ideal “image of black beauty” she grew up rich and she knew she wanted to be a singer and her parents gave up everything to help her follow her dreams….
she got married to a rich man and is having her first child at 30, like she said she would the whole time…
but then i thought about all that and said to myself…..SOMETHING ISN’T RIGHT, nobodys’ life can be that planned or perfect…
MARY YOUR LIFE HAS MADE YOU WHO YOU ARE TODAY!
I’m learning that as well, if it wasn’t for all of the bad shit i went through,
i wouldn’t be the person I am today, I thank God for my struggles and mistakes…
Beyonce is Beyonce for a reason and I’m Ti for what ever reason, but at the end of the day God has a path for us all.
keep your head up Mary, you are one of my favorite singers, you’re music has brought me through a lot of rough patches in my life.
BG is Facing 40 Years in Prison After Pleading Guilty to Gun Charges
Dec 9th

Former Cash Money artist BG is in a load of trouble…
The rapper pleaded guilty yesterday to gun and witness tampering charges and could face up to 40 years in prison.
During a random traffic stop in November of 2009, three guns owned by BG were found in a stolen car.
The weapons discovered were three loaded shotguns with two extended magazine clips.
Along with B.G., 27-year-old Jerod Fedison and 17-year-old Demounde Pollard were also charged in the case as well.
BG used to rap alongside Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Birdman and Mannie Fresh as a part of the Cash Money Millionaires
he is due back in court to sentenced on March 14th.
Police claim that BG and Fedison, who are both convicted felons, pressured Pollard into taking the gun charges, due to his clean criminal record.
In May, BG was arrested for his role in persuading Pollard to claim ownership of the guns, hence the witness tampering charge.
Fedison recently pleaded guilty to gun and witness tampering charges and was sentenced to a 20-year term.
Pollard reportedly cooperated with authorities and received an 30 month sentence.

Steve Harvey Quits Stand Up Comedy
Dec 8th
source:The NY Post
Despite his love of stand-up, Harvey, who lives in Atlanta with his third wife, Marjorie, and two of their seven children from previous marriages, said he plans to give it up, partly to make way for the talk show. He said his last comedy show will be next August, in Las Vegas.
“It’s been a complete joy to stand on the stage and tell jokes, but I don’t want to be 60, hoping people buy a ticket to come see me,” he said. “It’s tough, because stand-up is really dear to me. I know it is the thing that led to all of this — the movies, the TV shows. I always know that it comes back to that core gift of being able to make people laugh.”
Tyrese needs to get his story straight
Dec 2nd
Yesterday Tyrese’s reps gave a statement to TMZ that said Tyrese was suffering from food poison and had been sent home from the hospital and ordered on bed rest

I swear Twitter is the worst thing that ever happened to Tyrese…everything he does screams attention whore.
whenever I get exhausted, I simply take a long nap like i did yesterday…Who goes and pays a damn hospital bill,
with health care cost being as extreme as it is -_- #richpeopleshit.
Miguel Throws A Twitter Tantrum Over Grammy Snub
Dec 2nd
I stopped paying him any mind, when he started the “hair beef” with Lloyd.
Where does all this entitlement come from? just because you made an album, doesn’t mean you will be nominated,
I can understand wanting to be recognized for your work, but at the same time,
you have to be prepared for the possibility that you will be overlooked.
Yes it can be extremely frustrating, but I think the best thing to do is just keep doing your thing…

“My President is Black”…
source: The Life Files,
“My president is black,My Lambo’s blue.
And I’ll be God-damned if my rims ain’t too.”
Dear Jeezy: Just think about those lines for a second,
then ask yourself again why your song wasn’t picked, just because you made a rap song
about a black president, doesn’t mean you should go to the white house, please have a seat-> __/
