T.I speaks on 50 cent and the gay community
Nov 29th

The self-proclaimed King of the South, rapper T.I., is being featured on VIBE magazine‘s year end Dec. 2011 issue.
T.I. had a lot to say about The Gays who currently wield the balance of power in the entertainment industry.
T.I. on all Americans having equal rights:
“Man, I will say this, the funniest joke I ever heard [comedian] Tracy [Morgan] say during a stand-up was, ‘C’mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a dick, you can take a joke.’ [Cracks up laughing.] That shit was funny to me. And it’s kind of true. They’re like,‘If you have an opinion against us, we’re gonna shut you down.’ … That’s not American. If you’re gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you’re against it you should have the right to be against it in peace.’
But T.I., 31, did have some strong words for rapper 50 Cent and others who criticized his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, 36, for not taking the drug charge that sent her man back to federal prison for 11 months.
T.I.: “I’ma tell you, 50 Cent and anybody else, we not gonn’a have no discussion about what my ole lady should’a, would’a, couda done for anything as it pertains to me,” begins his rant. “We ain’t gonn’a do that. I’m the only one in my family that’s gonna take a lick when it pertains to the legal system. Since me, none of my other family members have seen a jail cell. Nobody. I’m the last one. The buck stops here. I feel that a person that stands behind [his woman for a criminal charge] is a coward anyway.”
VIBE: I doubt she would have gotten any time.
“T.I.: She wasn’t gonna catch it period, ’cause I’m there. That wasn’t even a consideration. Even if she asked me to I would’ve been like, “Nah, you trippin’. “So you didn’t feel you were more valuable to your family, employees and business partners on the street?
T.I.: “That’s a discussion between me and another man. Not with the mother of my children. Not with the nurturer of my household.”
The Dec. 2011 issue featuring T.I. on the cover hits newsstands on December 6th!
UPDATE:
50 Cent responded to T.I.’s statements in VIBE magazine on his Twitter page:
50cent: If U can get 5 years easy 4 some sh*t and I’m the support of my family. Why would it be wrong if ya lady had to take probation? Shit she ballin to lol

T-Boz Files for Bankruptcy…again
Nov 28th
According to docs filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz (real name Tionne Watkins) found herself owing creditors $768,642.99 — mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house.
The docs don’t paint a picture of exorbitant spending — she takes in $11,700/month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821.
TLC had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and four Grammy Awards … but according to the docs, T-Boz only pulls in $1,200/month in royalties.
T-Boz might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she’d been able to collect the child support she claims she’s owed — which according to the docs is $250,000.
I feel bad for T-boz Bless her heart, she has been through so much in life.
i believe Her health issues are what caused her debt,
it seems as if she was living within her means for the most part.
I wish her and Chase the best.
Beyonce tells Rihanna to take a year off
Nov 28th

According to reports Rihanna was on the verge of a break-down last week
and when she turned to Beyonce for help,Beyonce advised her to take a year off…
source: The Sun
SHATTERED Rihanna nearly cancelled a concert after suffering a meltdown under the stress of her mega world tour.
The Bajan singer, 23, threw the wobbler just hours before she was due on stage in Dublin last Friday.
She only decided to perform after making a tearful phone call to mentor Beyonce, who was able to talk her round.
Rihanna went ahead with the concert as planned and wrote online afterwards: “I’m so light-headed!”
The star is suffering from exhaustion amid the stress of her gruelling ten-month, 101-date tour.
A source said: “She’s just a young woman who just wants to have fun, but she was feeling pretty low.
“It’s a mix of exhaustion and stress. She’s been partying hard to take her mind off things, but there are days when she wakes up and doesn’t even know where she is because of the travelling.
“It’s no wonder she is feeling down.”
Beyonce, 30, advised Rihanna to complete her tour commitments — then take a year off to relax. The Crazy In Love diva took a break in 2009 to spend time with hubby Jay-Z. The source added: “She knows Rihanna needs downtime or she’ll burn out.”
ummm when is Beyonce going to take some time off? if this is true she needs to take her own advise.
Trina says it’s ok for Kreayshawn and V-Nasty to use The N-Word
Nov 16th

Rapper Trina is speaking on a what’s been a recent hot topic, white rappers that use the n-word in their rhymes.
The internet was in an uproar after white femcee V-Nasty released a video where she proudly used the word to refer to herself and her friends.
Her affiliate and white girl mob member Kreayshawn has also been catching flack for the same thing.
Now in an in a new interview, Trina’s speaking on the subject and blowing it off.
According to the ‘baddest’ it’s not a big deal, just a matter of respect.
“I don’t see what the big deal about it is,” she tells BET. “It’s a matter of respect, if you’re not being disrespectful, if you’re not doing it in a racist way…I’m not really the person that care’s too much about all that.”
She also adds that there are much more important issues at hand.
“It’s so much more serious stuff going on in life. Let’s worry about voting for Barack Obama for president again. I don’t think the N-word is such a big deal, we’ve been saying it for years, decades, white, blacks, Hispanic, Jamaican, Haitian, Chinese whatever. It is what it is, we didn’t create it, we didn’t start it and we’re not going to be the last to say it. It’s going to continue on and on and on so we just need to focus on what’s important.”
Trina is a mess smh.

Drake’s Take Care album OFFICALLY drops tomorrow
Nov 16th

source: complex
Complex magazine Staff Writer Damien Scott recently spent a few days embedded with rapper Drake and the OVO crew in Toronto for a cover feature in the December 2011/January 2012 issue.
Aubrey Drake Graham, 25, finds it difficult adjusting to fame as rap’s premiere lyricist. If Drake’s detractors aren’t knocking his emo rapping, they’re mocking him for acting tough in his music videos.
“They nitpick at everything,” he says, shaking his head.
“I stand 6’2″. By no means am I the most threatening guy in the rap game, but there are very few people who will come up and say that shit to me in person. It’s always all smiles. That’s one thing I do not fear, anyone in this game. Nobody. Especially none of these guys that are paid to talk shit.”
Drake’s sophomore album Take Care officially drops tomorrow. The album leaked online last week, and so far the reception has been lukewarm.
Drake has high hopes for his sophomore set, but others in the music industry don’t share his enthusiasm.
“I think he’s going to catch a brick this time,” said a top recording executive who asked to remain anonymous. “He’s talented but he’s missing something.”
This album is going to set him back a little bit,” said the exec, echoing the sentiment of many who have already heard the CD’s moody R&B-heavy tracks.
2 CHAINZ EXPLAINS WHY HE NO LONGER GOES BY TITY BOI
Oct 29th
Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz has finally explained his recent metamorphosis from former rap alias “Tity Boi” and how the new identity is more acceptable toward his lady fans.
“No, see I never changed my name this is what happened,” Chainz explained in an interview. “I did Supply and Demand, 12 Circle with DTP and Def Jam. I did a song called “Dear Mr. LA Reid” and someone else said Tity/2 Chainz and I had been saying it all the time but I guess the stars lined up and then definitely the way I said, the delivery, 2 Chainz made it lady and kid friendly. In my 8th grade yearbook picture I had on 2 chains. I had always been into like jewelry so 2 Chainz just stuck.” (VIBE)
A few weeks ago, producer Drumma Boy named “Tity Boi,” specifically, SOHH Underrated.
“SOHH Underrated? That’s easy. I got two words for you. [The artist formerly known as] Tity Boi. He’s one of the most slept-on artists in the South, man. Hands down. Tity Boi’s on Ludacris‘ label, Disturbing Tha Peace. That’s my guy and we get down. We have crazy records that we’ve done together. I produced the “Boo” record that Tity has with Yo Gotti. And then I produced the record, “I Spend It” that goes, “I’m riding around and I’m getting it. I’m riding around and I’m getting it.” We got two records that’s on [the] Billboard [music chart] right now. It’s just a pleasure to be able to hold him down and give him those Billboard records that he’s been waiting on. I think he’s one of the next guys coming out of the South.” (SOHH Underrated)
Fellow producer Nitti Beatz named “2 Chainz” SOHH Underrateda couple days later.
“I think 2 Chainz is a very talented rapper … he’s somebody that’s been in the game for a while and by him coming up in the Ludacris camp [Disturbing Tha Peace], he’s knows how thebusiness is supposed to go. I think [musically] dude is very dangerous right now: Everybody wants that new thing, and to the public, he’s got that new [flavor] because everyone knows him as being part of the group, Playaz Circle, but now he’s 2 Chainz.” (SOHH Underrated)
Two years ago, rapper Uncle Murda talked about changing his rap moniker to “Uncle M” due to its negative meaning.
“It’s just about getting me out everywhere,” Murda said in an interview. “You’ll definitely still get the same hardcore music because that’s my life. But you gotta understand, Uncle Murda, well, probably the ‘Murda’ will never get [to retail stores] that I need. All this will scare the money away just for certain things just when you hear like ‘Uncle Murda.’ That’s me, I done stamped that already…We trying to get some money…The content of music is still going to be the same, you still gonna get Uncle Murda, but we gonna talk to the ladies — because I do like to have fun. Everything ain’t about murder when it comes to me and my life. I’m not shooting or killing 24/7. That’s not going down everyday.” (Mixtape Monster)
