Apparently Money Is a Thang…JD almost in foreclosure

Channel 2 Action News has learned that Jermaine Dupri’s mansion on Mount Paran Road in northwest Atlanta was in foreclosure and set to be auctioned on the courthouse steps last week, but the sale was canceled at the last minute.
The law firm handling the foreclosure would not say why the sale was stopped.
Suntrust Bank had started foreclosure on an original loan amount of more than $2.5 million.
According to records Channel 2 obtained from the Georgia Department of Revenue, Jermaine Dupri Mauldin owes the state $493,768.75 in back taxes for 2007.
Channel 2′s Tom Regan spoke with Fayette County Tax Commissioner George Wingo. Wingo sent Regan documents showing Dupri owes $14,024.67 in unpaid property taxes, fees and penalties in connection with another home Dupri owns.
Regan went to Dupri’s home and rang the intercom at the security gate in hopes of getting a comment from the music producer, but got no answer.
Two phone numbers for So So Def Records, Durpri’s record label, were disconnected.

50 Cent Pulls Plug On “Sleek By 50″ Headphones

50 Cent is out of the audio business. The Queens, New York rapper has canceled his “Sleek by 50″ line of pricey headphones after Sleek Audio announced that it has ended its contractual agreement with 50’s licensing company G-Unit Brands. While no reason was given, Sleek explained that they will be “re-evaluating our Wireless Hybrid over-the-ear headphones at a later date.”
The G-Unit henchman unveiled his wireless headphone line back in January, when he debuted the hardware at 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show.
“I know music and I’ve tried everything on the market as far as headphones go, but I wanted something different, something better, that really pushed the envelope and gave all music fans a new way to listen to their favorite artists,” he said at the time. “I was fortunate to find Sleek, the technology they employ and their knowledge of how we hear music truly blew me away. It was a perfect match, I didn’t want to create another pair of loud headphones, I wanted to create headphones that offer top-level performance, style and new technology.”
He later hinted at a beef with Interscope head Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, who were apparently angry with Fif for competing with the popular Beats By Dre headphones.
Good luck 50, but i dont think you can compete with Dr. dre’s head phones .

Tupac’s Only Screenplay To Be Developed Into A Film

Sixteen years after Tupac Shakur wrote his first and only screenplay, his mother Afeni Shakur is hoping to bring the script to the big screen. During Tupac’s 11-month incarceration in 1995, he’d written a story called “Live 2 Tell,” which will go into production in 2012.
Preston Holmes and Ivan Juzang’s NStar Studios will spearhead the production with Afeni Shakur acting as executive producer. All three also worked together to produce the 2003 documentary Tupac: Resurrection. According to Variety, “Hustle and Flow” producer Dwight Williams will also join the production team.
Tupac was a genius, and the net of it is, he was from this community, he knew the struggles these young people were dealing with,” Juzang told Variety. “And he’s able to talk to young people in 2011, 2012, the same way he was able to talk to young people in 1995.”
Not much of the project has been revealed, but the film will tell the story of a young drug dealer struggling to leave an unlawful life. The budget for the movie is $11 million.
The film will go into production next year, but does not have an official release date.
Tupac was a genius in his life time, He said in prison he rewrote all the movies he played in to keep his head clear while in his cell .
The best thing to do in life is use your brain and you can achieve anything .

One surprising revelation: JohVonnie says she was treated VERY KINDLY by Katherine Jackson and even lived at the family’s Encino compound for a time.
